What is TEFL?

Who takes a TEFL Paris Certificate Course?

Typically a group is made up of about half British. Other participants may be American, Australian, Irish, South African, etc. as well as non-native speakers of English.

Participants vary in age from 21 to 55+. Most have a B.A. or higher degree.

Who are the students in the classes that TEFL Paris organises for teaching practice?

They are a mixture of adults and teen-agers, usually French. They do not pay course fees and are informed when they enrol that a multinational team of highly motivated learner-teachers will teach them.

Is it necessary for me to be able to speak French?
